Frequently Asked Questions
Powder coating is best suited for any electrically conductive metal object that can withstand the heat of the curing oven, including steel, aluminum, and brass. Ex. Industrial Fabrications, Architectural Signage, Metal Fencing, Gates, Railings, Retail Displays, Aluminum Extrusions, Wheels, Trailers, Patio Furniture, etc.
Powder coating creates a significantly thicker and harder layer of protection.
Powder coating is a durable, eco-friendly finishing process that involves applying a dry powder electrostatically to a metal surface, which is then cured in a heat oven. It's more resilient than liquid paint, oLering superior resistance to chipping, fading, and corrosion, and it has significant environmental advantages, producing little to no hazardous volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
It creates a thicker, more resistant finish that is harder than liquid paint and protects against scratches, chips, fading, and corrosion. Powder coating’s inherent resilience leads to superior performance in harsh conditions and resists degradation over time.
There are hundreds of colors available. We have 150 colors in stock, this provides a faster turnaround and more competitive pricing. If you are interested in a color that we don’t stock, we can order it. This process normally takes 3-5 days. If you have something that you need color matched, we can send a sample to a lab for an additional charge.
A properly applied and maintained powder coating can last for 15 to 20 years or even longer, especially in outdoor conditions, though its lifespan is influenced by factors like the quality of the coating, the pretreatment process, the specific environmental conditions it's exposed to (e.g., harsh sun, salt, chemicals), and ongoing maintenance.

The cost to sandblast is $125.00 per hour. Sandblasting time varies significantly, ranging from a few minutes to several days, depending on factors like the size of the area, surface condition (rust, paint, layers), the type of material being blasted, and the complexity of the item’s design.
We prioritize Industrial jobs and work within your timeline. Individuals can expect a lead time of 1-1/2-2 weeks depending on the color, size of the project, etc.
